About Montana Juniors Volleyball Club
The Montana Juniors Volleyball Club started out as the Magic City Volleyball Club in 1991. With just a few teams and a limited schedule we embarked on getting club volleyball started in the Yellowstone Valley. We are now entering our eighteenth playing season and have become one of the most successful clubs in Montana, consistently developing players who represent their high school teams at the highest level of competition. Thus far, we have had 35 players from our program go on to play college volleyball.

2008 WY State Tourney Champs ~ 14-1's

Mt. Juniors is proud to offer the best coaching staff available, all with collegiate playing, high school, or club coaching experience. Our staff are committed to providing the best environment possible for their players.

The season generally runs from the first week of March to mid May. We strive to put together the most competitive schedule possible for our teams. Many of the tournaments are in state, although we may compete in Wyoming as well. Our season ends at the Wasatch Festival in Provo, UT. It is a two day tournament that allows us to compete against regional teams.

Our parents are a big part of our club and often travel with the teams, support our players and coaches, and do the things necessary to allow the club to run smoothly. We are all excited to get the 2008 season started!

Introduction to Club Volleyball
As with so many youth sports the club experience has become increasingly popular for volleyball players who are serious about improving their skills. It provides an opportunity to play with and against top athletes and to work with experienced coaches in a competitive environment. It is clearly the best way to develop skills, and, is fast becoming the edge needed to compete at the varsity level in high school programs.

But club volleyball isn’t all fun and games. It’s a serious commitment of time, energy, and financial resources. For teams to be successful players have to learn to balance team demands with homework, vacations, school sports, social desires, and other interests; players have to learn to establish priorities and make hard decisions.

Fees
The cost of the club is $350. This covers coaching, gym rental, equipment, uniforms, AAU & tournament fees, and two nights lodging at the Wasatch Festival in Utah. Travel costs and additional lodging is not covered.

In order to try out you must send in your signed tryout form by Feb. 20th. Please bring in all that you need (knee pads, etc.) and prepare yourself (taping, etc.) prior to the start of the tryout. Come early enough so you can adequately warm up.
